1. Scope and responsible company
This Privacy Policy applies to the A2B Driver mobile application, related driver web pages, and driver-facing services operated under the A2B and A2B Rx brands (collectively, the “Services”). In this policy, “A2B,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the company operating the Services from 105 Sandford St, Brooklyn, NY 11205.
This policy does not replace the privacy notices of pharmacies, healthcare providers, payment providers, mapping providers, mobile operating-system providers, or other third parties whose services you may separately use.
2. Information we collect
Account and identity information
- Name, mobile phone number, email address, postal address, city, state, ZIP code, profile photo, and account identifiers.
- Driver profile and verification information, such as vehicle make/model, vehicle photo, driver’s-license image, identification documents you submit, account approval status, and pharmacy relationships.
- Authentication and security information, including one-time-code activity, access tokens, login timestamps, and fraud or abuse signals. We do not ask you to place Twilio or other service credentials in the app.
Location and route information
- Precise GPS coordinates, location accuracy, timestamps, online/offline availability, route progress, arrival proximity, pickup and delivery locations, estimated distance, and estimated travel time.
- Location may be collected while you are using the app and, when you grant the applicable permission, in the background during active delivery work or when the app needs to maintain route progress. Additional detail appears in Section 4.
Delivery and safety evidence
- Package QR-code scans, pickup verification, package count, delivery status, failed-delivery or return status, delivery photographs, recipient signatures, signer type, associated time, and delivery geolocation.
- Route assignments, offers, accept/decline activity, completed stops, pharmacy and recipient contact information made available for an authorized route, and route ratings.
Communications
- Messages exchanged through in-app chat with authorized pharmacies, recipients, administrators, or support personnel, including files or images you choose to attach.
- Support requests, account-deletion requests, payout-review requests, feedback, and records of communications with us.
Earnings and transaction information
- Route compensation, fees, available and paid balances, payout status and history, and payout requests.
- If electronic payouts are enabled, identity, tax, bank, debit-card, or payout-account information may be collected directly by our payment provider. A2B may receive confirmation, account status, and limited payment details, but generally does not receive complete bank-account or card credentials entered into a provider-hosted form.
Device, app, and usage information
- Device type, operating system, app version/build, IP address, push-notification token, language, time zone, app events, diagnostics, crash information, and server logs.
- Camera and photo-library access only when needed for QR scanning, identity/vehicle profile uploads, attachments, or delivery evidence and only as permitted by your device settings.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from pharmacies, administrators, recipients, other drivers, mapping and address providers, communications providers, payment providers, app stores, and fraud-prevention or security providers. For example, a pharmacy may invite a driver, assign a route, or provide delivery details necessary to perform the route.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create, authenticate, verify, approve, maintain, and secure driver accounts;
- connect drivers with pharmacies and eligible route opportunities;
- assign, display, optimize, navigate, monitor, support, and complete routes;
- verify package pickup and delivery and preserve proof of delivery;
- enable calls, chat, attachments, notifications, and support communications;
- calculate, display, review, administer, and document route earnings and payouts;
- provide customer support and investigate missing, delayed, damaged, misdelivered, or returned packages;
- protect patients, pharmacies, drivers, A2B, and the public; detect fraud and misuse; enforce our Terms; and comply with law;
- maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Services; and
- send operational messages, including authentication codes, route alerts, account notices, safety messages, and service updates.
Where required, we rely on your consent for device permissions. We may also process information to provide the Services you request, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate operational, safety, security, and business interests.
4. Precise and background location
Location is central to route matching and delivery verification. When you go online, accept or perform a route, or use navigation or delivery-confirmation features, the app may collect precise location and location accuracy. This allows A2B to show nearby work, determine route progress, verify arrival near a pickup or delivery point, share appropriate progress with the pharmacy, and attach location evidence to delivery or return records.
If you grant “Always” or background-location permission, location may continue to be collected during active work when the app is not visible. We do not intend to use background location for unrelated advertising. You can change location permission in your device settings or go offline in the app; however, nearby offers, route navigation, progress tracking, and delivery completion may not work correctly without required location access.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and financial records, satisfy pharmacy contracts, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, insurance, tax, accounting, safety, and audit requirements.
Delivery records—including route history, status, QR verification, photographs, signatures, timestamps, and location evidence—may be retained after account closure because they document completed work and package custody. Chat, support, payout, security, and transaction records may also be retained where necessary. Retention periods vary by record type and legal context. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely isolate it.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
- Profile. You can review and update supported account information in the app. Certain verification records may require support review.
- Location, camera, and photos. You can manage permissions in iOS or Android settings. Some core delivery functions will not work when a required permission is disabled.
- Push notifications. You can change notification permissions in device settings. We may still send essential SMS, email, or in-app account and operational notices where permitted.
- Account deletion. You may submit a deletion request through the app or at cp.a2brx.com/driver/account-deletion. We will verify the request and may retain records as described above.
- Access, correction, deletion, or appeal. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. Contact us using Section 11. We may need to verify your identity and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.
Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, access controls, encrypted network transmission, restricted operational access, logging, and security review. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your phone and verification codes, use device security features, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.
9. Children
A2B Driver is a work application intended for adults who are legally eligible to perform delivery services. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly allow children to register as drivers. Contact us if you believe a child provided driver-account information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, technology, or law changes. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the effective date. When required, we will provide additional notice through the app or another appropriate channel.
